Location of Maintec 2014

Named as the UK’s most popular conference and events destination outside London for 2010, by the British Meetings and Events Industry Survey 2012/13, Birmingham sure knows how to put on an event. All the action takes place in Hall Six at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), starting at 10am each day with a 4pm close on day one and two, and 3pm on the final day.

If you're arriving by plane, the NEC is minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX). On arrival, head for the upper level of Terminal 1 and board the free and fast Air-Rail Link (every two minutes between 5.15am and 2.00am daily) to Birmingham International railway station. From there it’s a minute's walk to the NEC.

Train travellers you'll be pleased to hear that the NEC is right next to Birmingham International rail station and you can reach all of its halls quickly and conveniently, without stepping outside. For drivers (postcode: B40 1NT) there are 16,500 parking spaces available. Just follow the electronic signage or directions provided by the NEC traffic team to get to the optimum car park area for the event. A free shuttle bus, or sign posted footpaths, will do the rest.
