Some of the UK\u2019s most inspirational young female engineers<\/a> have been recognised for their achievements by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the National Apprenticeship Service<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n As new statistics from the Institution of Engineering and Technology\u2019s (IET) Skills and Demand in Industry survey showed that women represent only 9% of the engineering workforce, the need for recognising and celebrating outstanding female engineers has never been so important. The good news is that there are plenty of inspirational role models to celebrate.<\/p>\n The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) presented its prestigious Young Woman Engineer of the Year awards<\/a> recently.
