Emerson Acquire Leader in Safety & Environmental Control Equipment
Emerson Process Management have just announced that they have acquired Enardo LLC, a leader in safety and environmental control equipment for the oil and gas, petrochemical, wastewater, refining and other industries.
According to last years figures, Enardo recorded $65 million in sales and currently employ 140 at their headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to the buyout, Enardo was a division of HMT, leading provider of above ground storage tank products and services based in The Woodlands, Texas.
President of Emerson Process Management, Steve Sonnenberg says "Enardo's expertise in tank vapor controls applications is highly complementary with our industry-leading regulator technologies portfolio, including our Fisher Regulator product line, they also have an excellent reputation for quality and customer satisfaction that extends our expertise in the upstream and downstream markets."
"Enardo is a market leader with strong brand presence. Together, we look forward to better serving the needs of our storage tank and terminal customers and markets worldwide," said Randy Page, president of Emerson Process Management's Regulator Technologies business.
We feel this is a great acquisition for Emerson although we are unsure as to how much the takeover has cost them. What are your thoughts on the takeover, do you think this will have an impact on the storage tank and terminal safety equipment markets?
