The International Food and Beverage Event 2015

The UK’s largest food and food event, International Food and Beverage Event (IFE), heads to ExCeL London, from 22-25 March, to dish up a packed agenda of products, presentations, exhibitors and networking opportunities.

Summary

IFE 2015 provides an unrivalled opportunity to source the best products, keep up to date with the latest trends and network with the industry’s best minds. The last IFE in 2013 had over 1,120 exhibiting companies from 55 countries.

The event is co-located with Pro2Pac, the UK’s only packaging event for the food and beverage industry, and Waste-Works, the only Waste and Resource event dedicated to the food and beverage industry.

Event details

IFE is split into nine sections to make the event easier for visitors to navigate including Speciality and Regional Food from Britain and Ireland, Cheese and Dairy, Meat and Seafood, Walk the World, Bakery and Confectionery, Ingredients, Health and Wellbeing, beverages, and General Food.

Among the highlights will be live cooking demonstrations; live presentations and panel discussions at 'The Hub,' focussing on the latest industry issues; as well as theatres spotlighting the latest trends in the beverages and health and wellbeing industries.

The International Products Showcase will gather together the best international products available and the exclusive Meet the Buyer programme allows exhibitors the chance to secure one-to-one meetings with some of the country’s biggest retailers and food service buyers.

Winners of the World Food Innovation Awards, designed to celebrate excellence and innovation across every category of the global food industry, will be announced on 23 March. Plus, there are ample networking opportunities in the form of the free Export Advice Centre, UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Byers Lounge, and the Best of British gala dinner.

Exhibitor Spotlight

2 Sisters Food Group is one of the largest food manufacturers in the UK employing over 23,000 colleagues worldwide and with a turnover of £3.4bn. The main focus of the business is poultry with the capacity to process over 9m birds per week and this includes both raw, added value and fully cooked chicken.

Location

ExCeL London, the international exhibition and convention centre, is the host venue for IFE. Situated in the heart of London's docklands, ExCeL is well connected by rail, road, water, and air. It has parking for 3,700 cars and parking costs £15 per day. IFE are also offering a discount on British Airways flights to London City for delegates. Flights are available from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Nice, Zurich and Dublin to London City Airport; the airport closest to ExCeL.
