However, transformers often have to meet special requirements such as unusual voltages, extraordinary frame sizes or special mounting options. Thankfully, Murrelektronik is able to meet all these challenges head-on with a variety of solutions – including AC to DC transformers and AC to AC transformers – for your exact requirements.

Murrelektronik has also introduced a new packaging system for their transformers and rectified power supplies to make sure they arrive safely at their destination. Murrelektronik now uses dense foam that forms to the shape of the product and is better able to absorb shock and vibration during transportation.

This simple but effective additional packaging ensures that the outer parts of Murrelektronik transformers, like brackets and terminals, are not damaged upon arrival. This solution was selected after careful testing because it was the only packaging material that passed the parcel services’ drop tests and can be completely recycled.
