High-performance butterfly valves from MGA Controls

Amongst our collection of innovative butterfly valves, MGA Controls stocks specialist high-performance butterfly valves in various sizes, materials and body designs. In fact, we are the exclusive distributor of ABO high-performance valves in the UK. As such, we can provide an impressive array of their high-performance butterfly valves, including PTFE lined, double eccentric and heavy-duty triple offset models.

ABO Series 500 PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve

ABO Series 500 PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve

The PTFE lined ABO Series 500 is specifically designed for use with acids and other aggressive media. The split shaft system and highly profiled disc of this high performance butterfly valve ensures high Kv (Cv) value and lower pressure drop. The ABO split shaft system also offers a bigger cross-section area compared to single-pieced shaft versions, which promotes greater reliability.

Features and benefits

  • DN 50 - DN 200
  • Maximum working pressure: 10 bar
  • Concentric design with epoxy coated body
  • PTFE lined
  • Suitable for acids and other aggressive media
  • Shut-off and regulating device (bubble-tight shut off)
  • No limits in position in piping (horizontal/vertical)
  • High Kv values thanks to highly profiled disc

ABO Series 2E Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

ABO Series 2E Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

ABO Series 2E double eccentric valves, available in PTFE and metal seated versions, are suitable for a maximum working pressure of 50 bar and feature a split stem design that enables it to be used as a shut-off valve and as a regulating device. The Series 2E boasts several product approvals, including ATEX 94/9/CE and TA-Luft Certification. The double eccentric design delivers high performance but a cost-effective solution that can be fitted with pneumatic or electric actuators.

Features and benefits

  • DN 50 - DN 500 (2“ - 20“)
  • Double offset design
  • Shut-off and regulating device
  • Split shaft
  • More strength with less weight
  • Cost-effective, high-performance solution
  • Easy repair and maintenance
  • Easy installation and mounting
  • Vacuum max 0,01 bar (R-PTFE version)

ABO Series 3E Triple Offset Butterfly Valve

ABO Series 3E Triple Offset Butterfly Valve

The third offset design of ABO Series 3E triple offset butterfly valves eliminates virtually all friction throughout the operating cycle. This provides increased life expectancy and higher overall valve performance. All of which is made possible thanks to the conical machining profile of critical sealing components, resulting in a truly angled cone that delivers friction-free stroking throughout the entire operating cycle. As such, you can count on lower actuating costs and increased energy efficiency.

Features and benefits

  • Triple offset design
  • Available in a wide range of materials
  • Shut-off and regulating device
  • Metal/Metal sealing
  • High opening and closing performance
  • Zero leakage
  • Easy repair and maintenance
  • Easy installation and mounting
  • Low actuation costs
  • Increased energy efficiency
