Murrelektronik Modlink MSDD

Murrelektronik’s Modlink MSDD front panel interfaces make it easy to access controls in the cabinet during essential on-site diagnostics and maintenance. The control cabinet remains closed, which removes the likelihood of exposure to live voltage, and the components stay within the recommended protection class. Compliance with safety regulations regarding panel entry are easier to meet with the use of panel interface devices like Modlink MSDD.

The new European machine guidelines, EN 60204-1, state that outlets with a nominal current of up to 20 A have to be protected by a residual current protection device. With Murrelektronik’s Modlink MSDD, you simply snap the right RCD into the frame. Modlink inserts meet various safety standards and accommodate touch guard requirements, as well making safe operations possible on the front of control cabinets.

Featuring a modular design, with a large range of components and over 100,000 combination options, Modlink MSDD is suitable for worldwide applications, with country specific models (with all the necessary approvals) available. Modlink MSDD features an intuitive locking mechanism for simple operation. As such, a convenient spring mechanism ensures that you never forget to close the lid, which pops open to about 30 degrees so that you can see if it's closed or not. As soon as the lid is closed, Modlink meets IP65 protection requirements.

Supporting Murrelektronik’s Modlink plug-n-play philosophy, their USB 3.0 pass-throughs enable quick and easy data import and export from the control in the cabinet. Diagnostics and service can be conveniently carried out while the cabinet doors stay closed, thus increasing safety during operation. Furthermore, mounting is made extra simple because the pass-throughs fit into cut-outs with a standard diameter of 22.5 millimetres.
