Dining

The Munich Hall is the largest trade fair restaurant in the world, offering a taste of Oktoberfest to hungry exhibition goers. Around 40 restaurants and bistros cater for any taste imaginable, from elegant or rustic, exclusive menu or quick snack, with a whopping 3200 seats, waitresses in traditional costume and naturally brewed Munich beer.

Location

HANNOVER MESSE 2014 is conveniently located at the Hannover Exhibition Centre from 7-11 April. Hanover, or Hannover as it's known in German, has historically remained modest about its global influence. Is it purely coincidental though that the former de facto seat of power for 100 years worth of British Empire rule (via monarchs from the house of Hanover), now influences global decision makers in the fields of industry and IT, with large-scale exhibitions like HANNOVER MESSE and CeBIT hosted here? Beyond the exhibition halls, you'll find vast acreages of green space, with the miniature Versailles gardens of Herrenhäuser Gärten, a compact medieval-style centre (partially reconstructed after WWII bombing), Eilenrade forest to the east, and the southern lake Maschsee.
