A preview of the Engineering Design Show 2015

The Engineering Design Show, and its co-located sister events the Electronics Design Show and Embedded Design Show, return to the Jaguar Exhibition Hall of Coventry's Ricoh Arena from 21-22 October 2015. Here's our guide to get the most out of your visit.

The Engineering Design Show has tripled in size since its launch in 2012 and continues to exceed expectations. Both in terms of visitor numbers and in the quality of the conference and workshop sessions. The Show has firmly established itself as the only event that provides design engineers with all their needs under one roof. The event is co-located with the Electronics Design Show and the Embedded Design Show.

The Engineering Design Show offers visitors the chance to speak to the industry’s leading suppliers and exhibitors. It also provides the perfect opportunity to network with engineers from a wide range of manufacturing sectors. It is the major meeting place for anyone engaged in engineering design and continues to lead the way in terms of content quality and delivery.

Exhibition details

The exhibition itself provides visitors with face to face access to a wide range of leading suppliers offering design engineering solutions across all sectors and demonstrations of new cutting edge technology. A high level conference promises keynotes from senior engineers from across aerospace, automotive, motorsport and electronics to impart their wisdom on the future of engineering design. Meanwhile, free practical workshops take place across both days within the two theatres, covering a broad range of topics from software design and rapid prototyping, to material selection and test and measurement.

Location

With its state-of-the-art conference, banqueting, exhibition, hotel and sports facilities, Coventry's multi-purpose Ricoh Arena complex has won several awards for its design. It's within a two-hour drive for 75 per cent of the population of England, near to junction three of the M6, an international airport and major railway stations. The railway station for the Ricoh Arena is the main Coventry railway station in the City Centre about six miles away. Black cabs run frequently from outside the station and the journey to the arena takes roughly ten to 15 minutes.
