What is the ASCO Flow Calculator?

The ASCO Flow Calculator allows engineers to quickly and accurately calculate the flow or determine the Cv for your valve. The mobile app is very easy to use; simply select a media, enter your data, and let the calculator do the rest.

In addition, the Fluid Guide provides reference information on the types of valves available for most common corrosive and non-corrosive gases and liquids.

Additional features of the mobile app include the Where to Buy Distributor locator which allows customers to quickly locate domestic and international ASCO distributors (both Authorized Valve Distributors and Combustion Product Distributors). The Numatics Actuator Sizing tool is a mobile app which enables customers to accurately calculate the optimum actuator for their application. The mobile app quickly and accurately sizes Double Acting single rod cylinders, Double Acting double rod cylinders and Rodless cylinders.

The innovative mobile app is based on Numatics Numasizing ® technology, making it the most accurate actuator sizing programme available.

What is Numasizing ® technology?

Numasizing ® is a technique developed by Numatics, which enables compressed air to be used more efficiently by sizing all the pneumatic components of an air system as well as selecting pressures to optimize its usage. Numasizing negates the need to speculate on the stroke time of an actuator even when subjected to two different loads under two distinct pressures. Numasizing technology is based on actual results of over 250,000 test firings of cylinders.
