Function of power supply units
When it comes to demonstrating the efficiency of their components, Murrelektronik are more than happy to crack an egg or two in order to prove the superiority of their innovations! In fact, that’s exactly what they did in one recent test where they placed two freshly cracked eggs into containers and placed them in two identical control cabinets running systems under full load for four hours.
Except one of the control cabinets was rigged with a Murrelektronik Emparro power supply unit and one of their patented MB Redundancy Balance modules. As you’ll see, the difference in efficiency – as demonstrated through the latent temperature given off in either control cabinet – is markedly different.
